GXS Named a Leader in Integration Service Providers Magic Quadrant
Evaluation Based on Ability to Execute and Completeness of Vision
According to the Gartner report, “The bar is raised: Expanding globalization, larger communities, e-invoicing, service oriented architecture, more-sophisticated processes, cloud computing and improved service-level agreements are driving integration service providers to new levels of maturity.”1 One of the most important trends in B2B e-commerce that has emerged over the last year is greater demand for automation and new tools for better community management. According to Gartner1, “IT end users managing large communities of hundreds or thousands of external business partners can't afford to manually administer initial project roll outs and ongoing change management. Providers increasingly offer tools that automate community management tasks.” Earlier this year, GXS rolled out two new services to ease and advance community management functions for its customers. The first, TeamBook, provides a secure and central location for customers to store and collaborate on critical documents with GXS. It provides the ability for Managed Services customers to manage the dynamic needs of their trading partner community by providing visibility into trading partner and mapping information and by facilitating the change management process. The second service, RollStream, is an online collaboration platform that optimizes B2B relationships. RollStream automates and streamlines the creation and ongoing maintenance of business partner relationships and processes. It enables companies to establish secure, online communities of suppliers or customers in a matter of hours. Within these communities, RollStream delivers ROI-based solutions that span the partner lifecycle, including profile and credential capture, communications and compliance, dispute resolution and performance management. “We believe the increase in vendors included in this year’s Integration Service Providers Magic Quadrant demonstrates the growth and liveliness of our industry and the interest from buyers for B2B services,” said Bobby Patrick, chief Marketing officer of GXS. “As a leader, GXS has set a high bar for all aspects of B2B integration including service reliability, breadth of services, community management and onboarding solutions and global reach. Our investments in innovation and global growth have enabled our customers to connect with their business partners anywhere in the world and made real, workable solutions for B2B community management, such as RollStream and TeamBook, a reality.” Gartner also noted in the report that, “While previous integration service provider market leaders have retained their leadership positions, others have strengthened their positions, particularly in the area of B2B integration outsourcing.” GXS Managed Services continues to be a central focus for GXS. In fact, earlier this year, GXS reported that it had signed 30 new B2B outsourcing customers and achieved 25 percent year-over-year revenue growth in the segment.
